Franco-Finnish indie pop duo

The Dø is an indie pop duo formed in 2005, consisting of French-Finnish singer Olivia Merilahti and French musician Dan Levy. Their music is a blend of various genres, including folk, pop, and electronic sounds. The band's debut album "A Mouthful" was released in 2008 and achieved significant success, especially in France where it reached the top of the French album charts. This made them the first French act singing in English to reach that position. They followed up with their second album "Both Ways Open Jaws" in 2011, which continued to build on their unique sound and garnered critical acclaim. In 2014, The Dø released their third studio album "Shake Shook Shaken," which saw the duo moving towards a more electronic and synth-based sound. Throughout their career, The Dø has been known for their eclectic style and engaging live performances, gaining an international fanbase and touring extensively across Europe and beyond.
