St. Paul & The Broken Bones is an American eight-piece soul band based out of Birmingham, Alabama. Formed in 2012, the group is led by vocalist Paul Janeway, whose impassioned singing style has been a defining characteristic of the band's sound. They quickly gained attention for their stirring live performances and retro-inspired soul music reminiscent of the 1960s and 1970s. Their debut album, "Half The City," released in 2014, was met with critical acclaim and established them as a notable force in the revival of Southern soul music. Following up with "Sea Of Noise" in 2016, St. Paul & The Broken Bones expanded their sonic palette, incorporating more elements of rock and psychedelia into their music.
