Moving Targets is an American punk/alternative rock band that was formed in Massachusetts in 1981. The band is known for its melodic yet aggressive style, which blends elements of punk rock, post-punk, and hardcore. They were originally part of the vibrant Boston hardcore scene in the early to mid-1980s. The group was founded by guitarist and vocalist Kenny Chambers, with Pat Leonard on bass and Pat Brady on drums. Their debut album, "Burning In Water," released in 1986, received critical acclaim within the underground music community and is often cited as a classic example of post-hardcore music from that era.
