Michele Campanella is an Italian classical pianist renowned for his interpretations of the works of Franz Liszt, although his repertoire encompasses a wide range of composers. Born on June 5, 1947, in Naples, Italy, Campanella has established himself as a prominent figure in the classical music world. He has won several prestigious awards, including the first prize at the Alfredo Casella International Piano Competition in Naples in 1966 and the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Budapest in 1973.
