Menace Beach is an indie rock band formed in Leeds, UK, around 2012. The group was started by core members Liza Violet and Ryan Needham. They quickly became known for their lo-fi, fuzz-infused sound that draws from a variety of influences, including noise pop and punk rock. Menace Beach made their full-length debut with the album "Ratworld" in January 2015, which received positive reviews for its energetic and catchy tunes. Following the success of their debut, they released "Lemon Memory" in 2017, an album that saw the band experimenting with a broader range of sounds and textures. Their third album, "Black Rainbow Sound," came out in 2018 and featured a collaboration with Brix Smith, formerly of The Fall. Throughout their career, Menace Beach has been praised for their dynamic live performances and their ability to blend melodic sensibilities with a raw edge.
