Leroy Gomez is an American singer and saxophonist who gained international fame as the frontman of the group Santa Esmeralda. The band is best known for their disco renditions of the song "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood," which was originally performed by Nina Simone and later became a hit for The Animals.
