Canadian childrens choir known for unique 1970s recordings

The Langley Schools Music Project is not a professional artist, composer, or band in the traditional sense, but rather a collection of recordings from a 1970s music project led by Canadian music teacher Hans Fenger. The project involved students from the Langley School District in British Columbia, Canada. Fenger, an elementary school teacher at the time, recorded his students singing popular songs of the era, accompanied by simple instrumental arrangements. The recordings were initially made in 1976-77 and were largely forgotten until they were rediscovered and released as an album titled "Innocence & Despair" in 2001.
