Kungliga Filharmonikerna, also known as the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, is one of Sweden's leading orchestras. Founded in 1902, it has a long and distinguished history of performing classical music. The orchestra is based at the Stockholm Concert Hall (Konserthuset), which has been its home since 1926. Over the years, the Kungliga Filharmonikerna has worked with many esteemed conductors and soloists, both Swedish and international. The orchestra is known for its annual Nobel Prize Concert, which honors the Nobel laureates.
