Slovenian Classical Flautist

Irena Grafenauer is a renowned Slovenian flutist, celebrated for her virtuosity and contribution to classical music. Born on June 19, 1957, in Ljubljana, Slovenia (then part of Yugoslavia), she began her musical education at an early age and quickly established herself as a prodigious talent. Grafenauer won the first prize at the Munich ARD International Music Competition in 1977, which significantly boosted her international career.
