Cult Goregrind/Death Metal Band

Impetigo was an influential American death metal and grindcore band that emerged in the late 1980s. They are often credited with being one of the pioneers of the goregrind subgenre, which combines elements of extreme metal and grindcore with lyrical content inspired by horror films and gory themes. The band was formed in Illinois in 1987 by Stevo Dobbins and Mark Sawickis, who were later joined by other members to complete the lineup.
