Romanian Brass Band

Fanfare Ciocărlia is a renowned Romanian brass band known for their energetic and high-speed music, combining traditional Romanian folk music with a variety of other genres such as Turkish, Bulgarian, Serbian, and Macedonian music, as well as elements of jazz and Latin. The band hails from the small northeastern Romanian village of Zece Prăjini, predominantly inhabited by the Romani (Gypsy) minority. They were discovered by German sound engineer and producer Henry Ernst in 1996, who helped them gain international attention.
