Envy of None is a musical project that was formed by Alex Lifeson, best known as the guitarist of the legendary Canadian rock band Rush. The group also includes Andy Curran, formerly of the band Coney Hatch, Alfio Annibalini, and singer Maiah Wynne. The project represents a departure from Lifeson's progressive rock roots with Rush, exploring new sonic territories. Envy of None's music blends various genres and showcases the collaborative effort of its members, with Lifeson contributing his guitar expertise to a sound that incorporates elements of alternative rock and electronic music. The band released their self-titled debut album "Envy Of None" in 2022, marking a new chapter for the members involved, especially for Lifeson after the conclusion of Rush following the death of drummer Neil Peart in 2020.
