Dedekind Cut, formerly known as Lee Bannon, is the alias of American experimental artist and producer Fred Warmsley who has been active since the early 2010s. Warmsley initially gained recognition for his work in the hip-hop genre, particularly for producing tracks for the Pro Era collective, including notable rapper Joey Bada$$. However, he later shifted his focus to more experimental and ambient music under the moniker Dedekind Cut. The name Dedekind Cut references a mathematical concept introduced by Richard Dedekind in the realm of real number theory.
