He is the son of the legendary filmmaker and composer John Carpenter, which has led to collaborative opportunities in the family's musical endeavors. Cody has contributed to the soundtracks of several films in the Halloween franchise, including "Halloween" (2018), "Halloween Kills" (2021), and "Halloween Ends" (2022), working alongside his father and Daniel Davies. His contributions help to modernize and expand upon the iconic themes that John Carpenter originally created for the series in 1978.
