Celestial Season is a Dutch band that was formed in the early 1990s. They initially emerged within the doom metal scene and gained recognition with their debut album "Forever Scarlet Passion" released in 1993. The band's style evolved over time, incorporating elements of stoner rock and more melodic influences into their music. After a period of inactivity, Celestial Season returned to their doom metal roots with the album "The Secret Teachings" released in 2020, which marked a significant comeback after nearly two decades without releasing new material. Their discography reflects a journey through different styles and eras, with "Mysterium I" being part of their later works, showcasing their versatility and longevity as a band within the metal genre.
