BuJazzO

BuJazzO, short for Bundesjazzorchester, is the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Germany. It was founded in 1988 by Peter Herbolzheimer, who served as its artistic director until 2006. The orchestra serves as a platform for promoting young jazz talents in Germany, typically consisting of musicians between the ages of 17 and 24. BuJazzO has gained a reputation for its high musical standards and has played an important role in the development of young jazz musicians in Germany.
