Emo-Influenced Alternative Rock Band

Brand New is an American rock band formed in Long Island, New York, in 2000. The band consists of Jesse Lacey (vocals, guitar), Vincent Accardi (guitar, vocals), Garrett Tierney (bass guitar, vocals), and Brian Lane (drums, percussion); they were later joined by Benjamin Homola (drums) for their live performances. Brand New quickly gained popularity with their debut album "Your Favorite Weapon" in 2001, which was marked by a pop-punk sound. However, it was their second album "Deja Entendu" in 2003 that signaled a stylistic shift towards a more nuanced and mature emo and alternative rock sound, earning them critical acclaim and a dedicated fanbase.
