Finnish black metal band

Archgoat is a Finnish black/death metal band formed in 1989 by brothers Ritual Butcherer (guitar) and Lord Angelslayer (bass/vocals). The band is known for its raw and primitive sound, blasphemous themes, and controversial imagery, which have made them a staple in the underground extreme metal scene. After releasing their first demo "Jesus Spawn" in 1991, Archgoat went on a hiatus in 1993, only to return in 2004 with a renewed lineup and vigor.
