Ancient Bards is an Italian symphonic metal band known for their epic storytelling and powerful orchestral arrangements. Formed in 2006, the band has carved out a niche within the metal community for their concept albums that are part of a high fantasy saga titled "The Black Crystal Sword Saga." The band's lineup has included Sara Squadrani as the lead vocalist, whose operatic voice has become a defining characteristic of their sound.
