Ancestors

Ancestors is a progressive/psychedelic rock band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2006, the band is known for blending elements of doom metal, psychedelic rock, and progressive rock to create a unique and expansive sound. Their debut album, "Neptune With Fire," released in 2008, set the tone for their musical direction with its two lengthy tracks that showcased their ability to weave heavy riffs with ambient textures. They followed up with "Of Sound Mind" in 2009, an album that further developed their sound and featured more complex arrangements and instrumentation. In 2018, Ancestors released "Suspended In Reflections," which continued their tradition of atmospheric compositions, marked by a more mature and refined approach to songwriting and production.
