Product information The Ladder is the eighteenth studio album by progressive rock band Yes, released in 1999. It is the only Yes album to feature keyboardist Igor Khoroshev as a permanent member, and the last album with guitarist Billy Sherwood. In addition, Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, and Alan White contributed to the album. The album was produced by Bruce Fairbairn (which turned out to be his last, as he died suddenly in May 1999). Following 1997's "Open Your Eyes", the British prog rock legends released "The Ladder" in 1999, which marked Igor Khoroshev's first studio recording as a permanent member of the band. In addition, "The Ladder" was the first record in a long time to be produced not by the band itself, but by an outside producer - Bruce Fairbairn, who has worked with bands such as Scorpions, AC/DC and Bon Jovi. Fairbairn died shortly before the recordings were completed, which were then finished by Mike Plotnikoff and the band. "The Ladder", which Yes dedicated to Bruce Fairbairn, is now available again on CD - in a high quality digipak edition.
