- The eighth album from the acclaimed British guitar rock band - The album hasn't been available for 14 years "Front Page News" is the band's eighth album "Bones" and second album with guitarist Laurie Wisefield. The album was produced by Ron Albert, who has also worked for Derek and the Dominos and the Allman Brothers. He gave Wishbone Ash a stronger sound and folk elements. The folk sound that was missing on previous albums is here given a songwriter's touch to the "Ash" guitar sound. Andy Powell even added a mandolin. Ron Albert has freshened up the Wishbone Ash sound and made Andy Powell and Laurie Wisefield's double solo guitar an unforgettable instrument.
