Argus is the fifth album by British rock band Wishbone Ash, released in 1972. The album was recorded at Island Studios in London and produced by John Anthony. It was the band's first album to feature bassist Martin Turner and drummer Steve Upton, and the last to feature guitarist Ted Turner. The album reached number 33 in the UK album chart. The album's title track was released as a single and reached number 41 in the UK Singles Chart. The album was re-released in 1992 as a CD and again in 2006 as a remastered CD and DVD. In a retrospective review, Bruce Eder of AllMusic awarded the album four stars out of five, calling it "a classic of British hard rock".
