The Russian soprano living in Italy, who began her glittering career with Rossini's music at the Pesaro Opera Festival and who has already caused a sensation on the world's great stages with her "radiant, multifaceted voice" (Stern) and powerful stage presence, comes up with another career highlight with this new album. She was accompanied by the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, a first-class orchestra for Rossini's music. It was conducted by the legendary Rossini expert Alberto Zedda.
