The second part with hits and rarities from the heyday of American disco music. For the second time, Soul Jazz Records presents a selection of disco recordings released on American independent labels between 1977 and 1985, compiled by Disco Patrick, author of "Disco - An Encyclopedic Guide to the Cover Art of Disco Records", also published by Soul Jazz, and the first volume of the "Disco" compilation. "Disco 2" features rarities and classics from the archives of labels like Salsoul in New York and TK Records in Miami, which were the main competition for major label production in the disco era. But you will also find almost forgotten disco stompers from micro-labels. All the recordings have been digitally remastered and appear in expanded disco editions. Double CD and double vinyl formats (with download code) are available.
