The legendary Blue Note originals were unearthed again at the height of the acid jazz revival thanks to the successful "Blue Break Beats" CD + LP series, which made the original recordings from the 60s and 70s famous around the world once again. Until "Blue Break Beats" itself became a rare and expensive collector's item. Now, for the first time, Volumes 1-3 are being released together in an affordable 3-CD box set with a full-color 20-page booklet, extended liner notes and samples.
