The lead single "Found What I've Been Looking For" became a huge hit and went platinum. Other singles from the album, such as "Sober" and "Something in the Water," also became popular hits. Critics praised the album Evering Road for its lyrical content and Grennan's powerful vocals. The album won several awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album.
