The pop-tinged song "Mine" was chosen as the pilot single, which is already a clear autumn hit on first listen. The new album features fourteen songs, all of which Taylor Swift is credited with writing. Nathan Chapman, who also worked with Taylor on the hugely successful "Fearless" album, once again handled the album's production. Taylor Swift also received four prestigious Grammy Awards for this album last year. As the singer herself states, the whole album is very personal and is something of an open letter to the singer. She dedicated each song to someone else close to her and in each song she describes how she feels about the person. Already the first sales results of the single "Mine" confirm that it is once again a hit. However, this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise to the blonde. She has sold more than thirteen million records to date and hopelessly sold out concerts at all stops of her latest tour. On top of all that, Taylor is also one of the most popular celebrities ever. She has over 11 million fans on Facebook and over four million people watching her every move on her Twitter account.
