Stevie Ray Vaughan's third studio album "Soul To Soul" was released in 1985, just two years after his successful debut "Texas Flood". The band was adept at covering songs by Hank Ballard, Doyle Bramhall and Willie Dixon, which benefited Stevie Ray Vaughan's modern blues sound. His own compositions like "Say What," "Ain't Gone 'N' Give Up On Love" and "Life Without You" show an artist who is passionate about true blues, but also evolving as a songwriter.
