"Discovering The Waterfront" is the second studio album by the Canadian post-hardcore band Silverstein, released on August 16, 2005, through Victory Records. The album showcases the band's blend of emo and hardcore punk elements, featuring emotive lyrics and a mix of melodic singing with intense screaming. Notable tracks include the energetic opener "Your Sword Vs. My Dagger," the catchy single "Smile In Your Sleep," and the title track "Discovering The Waterfront," which highlights the band's ability to balance aggression with melody. Other songs like "My Heroine" display their knack for crafting memorable hooks, while "Call It Karma" closes the album on a powerful note.
