Boiling Cold Storage Blues At over 75 years old, you'd think Seasick Steve would be an old hand at the business. But his career as a blues musician didn't begin until he was over 60 years old. However, he has already demonstrated his immense talent on eight studio albums. In 2018, album number nine: "Can U Cook?" will be released, which is the follow-up to "Keepin' The Horse Between Me And The Ground" (2016). Whether Seasick Steve can cook is anyone's guess. Anyway, on the new album he once again serves us a good-natured mix of boogie, blues, rock, Americana and folk. The whole thing was recorded in a cold storage warehouse on the docks in Key West, Florida. In the song "Can U Cook?" he's backed by longtime bandmate and drummer Dan Magnusson (aka Crazy Dan) and guitarist Luther Dickinson of the North Mississippi Allstars. Production is handled by Steve himself. Seasick Steve is as creative as ever in 2018: "Can U Cook?" is his brilliant new effort.
