The years around 1990 were certainly the most important for the band, the years when Savatage began to break away from the relatively conventional and dry metal of their early days and venture onto more complex and emotional shores, resulting in a completely personal take on music. "Streets" is a perfect album, haunting and captivating, featuring unique songwriting that can breathe to its fullest in the sixteen tracks on this album.
