Sabaton is a Swedish power metal band from Falun, formed in 1999. The main themes of the band's lyrics are based on war and historical battles. Sabaton's debut album Primo Victoria was released in 2005. The album was recorded at Fredman Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden. The album was produced by Peter Tägtgren. Primo Victoria was well received by fans and critics and was Sabaton 's first album to reach the Swedish charts. The album's title track, "Primo Victoria", was released as a single and reached number one on the Swedish singles chart. The second single from the album, "In the Army Now", was released in 2006 and reached number two on the Swedish singles chart. A music video for the song was also released. The album's third and final single, "The Final Solution", was released in 2007. Primo Victoria is a concept album that tells the story of a soldier fighting in World War II.
