After various altercations, the departure of Randy Rhoads to join Ozzy Osbourne (and his tragic death shortly thereafter), bassist Rudy Sarzo returns to Quiet Riot to record "Metal Health" with new guitarist Carlos Cavazo and drummer Frankie Banali. The single "Cum On Feel the Noize" - a cover of a Slade track - hits the Top 5 of the US singles chart and becomes a million-seller, the accompanying album reaches number one on the Billboard charts and is thus considered the first heavy metal album to reach number one in America. It sold more than six million copies. The following "Condition Critical" can confirm this success and also reaches high in the American charts, it is also a million seller. Although vocalist Kevin DuBrow declared after the success of "Cum On Feel the Noize" that the band would not record another Slade cover, "Mama Weer All Crazee Now" found its place on the album. Never before and never since with Randy Rhoads has an American band been more successful than on this album, which the Rock Candy reissue specialist is now finally reissuing on CD in a worthy version with bonus tracks ("Metal Health"), new mastering and extensive liner notes!
