The sequel to Phil Collins' excellent "Dance Into The Light" series was re-released in 2016 as part of a major reissue series called "Take A Look At Me Now". At the same time, Collins is re-releasing his second album "Hello, I Must Be Going!". "Dance Into The Light" is Phil Collins' sixth solo album from 1996, with which the singer reached number one on the German album chart for the fourth time. In addition to twelve original songs, the album also contains a cover version of the Bob Dylan classic "The Times They Are A-Changin'". Less than a month before, the singer had re-released his solo debut "Face Value" as well as his fifth solo album "Both Sides". "Dance Into The Light" is the third of eight full-length songs from Collins' repertoire to be re-released in the next few months. All eight albums have been completely remastered as part of the reissue. Collins has also added several other titles to the deluxe edition. Above all, however, he added live versions to make the separate development of the songs understandable. He chose the songs himself. In addition to the album and concert tracks, the Deluxe Edition also includes rare demo recordings and B-sides. The album "Dance Into The Light" includes demos of "Lorenzo" and "That's What You Said" and live versions of the title track "Dance Into The Light" and "Just Another Story". For the remastering, Phil Collins received support from an old friend. Nick Davis has already produced many works by Genesis and its members. Most recently he worked on the box set "Genesis 1970-1975". Another interesting feature of the series. For this, Phil Collins had himself photographed again in the exact same poses as he can be seen in on the original covers. "Dance Into The Light" will be released as a double CD and double LP. An exclusive collector's box is also available with "Take A Look At Me Now", which already includes the "Face Value" and "Both Sides" albums and offers room for more releases in the series.
