Paul McCartney releases his most extensive compilation to date!If anyone is considered one of the greatest living music legends, it is certainly the musician and one quarter of the unforgettable Beatles - Paul McCartney. Even after more than five decades in show business, the seventy-three year old musician from Liverpool is not losing his breath and now, in addition, he is bringing his most comprehensive collection of hits to date, which will hit the market on June 10 under the unmistakable title Pure McCartney...The aforementioned compilation charts all of the great musician's solo efforts, from his 1970 debut, through his most successful period in the 1980s, to his 2012 cover of My Valentine, 2014's Hope For The Future, which was intended for a well-known video game, and last year's remix of the duet Say Say, which he once recorded with Michael Jackson...At the same time, the collection doesn't forget his work with the band Wings or the experimental project Fireman, which McCartney was introduced to in 2008. We didn't really have anything in mind other than for others to enjoy listening to it afterwards," the singer himself says of the compilation, adding: "Maybe someone will enjoy it during a long car journey, or an evening at home or at a party with friends? So we put our heads together and came up with different lists from different periods of my long and winding career", and the amount of material that the Pure McCartney compilation has to offer suggests that Paul and his team have done a great job. The title, for which many of the songs have been freshly remastered, will be available on 2CD, 4CD set and also on four vinyls. The skinny version will contain thirty-nine songs, including hits such as Ebony And Ivory, Live And Let Die, Say Say Say, Maybe I'm Amazed, Mull Of Kintyre and The World Tonight. The more extensive four-disc edition with a total of 67 songs will also offer Jenny Wren, Fine Line, Wanderlust, New, Dance Tonight or We All Stand Together... The list of the above described songs already indicates that the Pure McCartney compilation promises a truly unforgettable musical experience. Soon we will be able to enjoy it live, because Paul McCartney will come to the Czech Republic again after twelve years. His concert is announced for 16th June at the O2 Arena in Prague!
