Paramore and their label Fueled By Ramen have recently announced the first details of their eagerly awaited new album. This is the Grammy-nominated band's first release of new songs in over three years and follows up their gold-selling "Brand New Eyes". Paramore's fourth studio album was overseen by Grammy-nominated producer Justin Meldal-Johnson, who is known for collaborating with artists such as Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Tegan and Sara and M83. Paramore's first single is called "Now". "Brand New Eyes" , the follow up to the platinum album "RIOT!" from 2007, officially established Paramore as one of the most popular and exceptional bands on the contemporary rock scene. The album, produced by Grammy winner Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Kid Rock, My Chemical Romance) and co-produced by the band itself, reached number two on the Billboard chart and was the biggest selling album in its first week on the Fueled By Ramen label. The work became an international phenomenon, climbing to number one in places like Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and England, number two in Mexico, number three in Canada and also breaking into the top ten in Germany, where it reached number seven. In addition, "Brand New Eyes" has earned rave reviews from all quarters, earning top ratings in "Entertainment Weekly", for example, where this "self-aware" work was described as "one of those rare punk albums that isn't afraid to smile". Billboard noted that the long player represented "Paramore's definitive entry among rock's elite", while MTV. com declared that it elevated the band to "the new kings and queens of the South". "They're much more than just a punk-pop band," USA Today defined them, adding: "Paramore is a band you can trust." The New York Times praised Brand New Eyes for "straining the band's natural momentum without sacrificing the power of the moment," and praised Paramore for their great qualities, which lie in "combining grit and attention to detail into an overall concept." Spin finally gets to the heart of the matter, calling "Brand New Eyes" "one of the 30 most important albums of 2009." Propelled by the sensational hits "Ignorance" , "Brick By Boring Brick" and "The Only Exception", "Brand New Eyes" won "Album of the Year" in the "Alternative Press" magazine readers' poll and also ranked #2 on their own list of the best albums of 2009. Hayley Williams was also named Best Female Vocalist of the Year by Alternative Press magazine, and New York Times journalist Jon Caramanica included the album in his personal top ten list, praising it for "choruses that roll in like powerful waves." Spin magazine ranked "Brand New Eyes" as one of the 40 most important albums of 2009, noting that with this album Paramore entered "the very rarefied world of rock music that means something." Also, Spin magazine called the opening concert of the Paramore Tour "one of the 30 best concerts of 2009" and described it as "an exhilarating and bonding moment for all fans" that made Williams "the Gwen Stefani of her generation". More accolades followed. In 2010, among other awards, she was named "Favorite Rock Band" in the People's Choice Awards. The single "The Only Exception" was nominated for a Grammy Award in the "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals" category, her second such nomination after her 2008 Grammy nomination for "Best New Artist". And one more nomination: the single "Decode" from the Twilight soundtrack, which made the Top 40, received a Grammy nomination in the "Best Song Written for Film, Television or Other Visual Media" category. Product Information Paramore, a Grammy-nominated band, releases its first brand new album in over three years and eagerly awaits the follow-up to 2009's RIAA Gold-winning "Brand New Eyes." The album - Paramore's fourth studio recording - was produced by Grammy-nominated producer Justin Meldal-Johnson, known for his work with artists as diverse as Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Tegan and Sara and M83. Paramore - singer Hayley Williams, bassist Jeremy Davis and guitarist Taylor York - first made the announcement on a personal blog on the band's official website www. paramore. net. "The entire making of this album was a rediscovery of ourselves as a band and friends," the band wrote. "It was a process that allowed us to freely explore new artistic territories and free ourselves as musicians, as singers, as people! Honestly, we feel the best way to name it is simply what it is. This album is us." The follow-up to their second album "RIOT!" 2007's RIAA Platinum-winning "Brand New Eyes" officially confirmed Paramore as one of the most popular and important bands of the modern era. The album, which was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Kid Rock, My Chemical Romance) and co-produced by the band, ranked No. 2 on the SoundScan/Billboard 200, recording the biggest first-week sales in Fueled By Ramen history.
