Even before the release of her debut album "Come Away With Me", critics were already standing on their heads. Magazines such as Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly have hailed the twenty-two-year-old singer and pianist as one of the greatest talents of our time. For the artist, who grew up in Texas and now lives in New York, and who was honored by jazz magazine Down Beat for her singing and songwriting talents as a student in Dallas, has mastered a rare art. She almost imperceptibly blends blues, country, folk, jazz and pop into a cohesive and powerful whole. Her piano playing has been compared to Bill Evans, her singing style to Joni Mitchell and Tom Waits. But NORAH JONES ultimately sounds like Norah Jones.
