Music History on Two CDs "Singles" is a comprehensive collection of all the maxisingle New Order released between 1981 and 2005 on two loaded CDs or four LPs. Originally released in 2005 as a singles compilation of Manchester new wave icons, all the songs on "Singles" have now been completely remastered. A total of 32 tracks await on "Singles" New Order in chronological order. The collection begins with "Ceremony", the track the band debuted after Joy Division broke up. The guitar-driven song, which was written back in the Joy Division days, is still strongly reminiscent of the band's post-punk past. However, in "Procession", the second single from New Order, a growing pop orientation is already apparent. Other highlights on the "Singles" album include "Crystal" (2001), "World (The Price of Love)" (1993), "Regret" (1993), "Round And Round" (1998), "Touched By The Hand Of God" (1987) and of course "Blue Monday" (1983), which is still considered the world's best-selling maxi single on vinyl.
