"The Family Jewels" was produced in collaboration with Pascal Gabriel, a Belgian producer who has done big things from Marc Almond to New Order to Kylie Minogue. He did a great job on "The Family Jewels" as well, giving Marin's immensely wide range and idiosyncrasy a homogeneous foundation that makes the album sound like it's all in one piece.
