Whenever the British rock band around its founding members Tony Clarkin and Bob Catley slows down the pace and grit and instead shows its sensitive side, the sensitive lyrics take on a special depth. "For fans to follow you, you have to offer them something they can dream about and sink their teeth into," explains guitarist, songwriter and producer Clarkin of his band's recipe for success. There's no doubt: without ballad classics like "Lonely Night" and "When The World Comes Down" or more recent highlights a la "The Valley Of Tears" or "Broken Wheel", Magnum's repertoire would be incomplete.
