Having reworked all the band's studio material to the highest quality in recent months and released it in an elaborate series of reissues with fascinating backing material, Mothership now appears in a new sonic guise: all tracks have been pressed on 180g vinyl in the new 96kHz/24bit quality of the 29014/2015 remastered version. The vinyl version, which was released in a limited edition in January 2008 and sold out quickly, consists of four discs collecting the band's most legendary songs¸ including Good Times Bad Times, Communication Breakdown, Dazed And Confused, Whole Lotta Love, Heartbreaker, Immigrant Song, Rock And Roll, Black Dog, Stairway To Heaven, D'Yer Maker, Kashmir and All My Love. Mothership comes in an archival box set with an LP-sized color booklet with liner notes by David Fricke and artwork by acclaimed Los Angeles artist Shepard Fairey. At the same time, Mothership is also being released in a newly remastered version on a double CD, which includes the complete track listing of the remastered versions. The new mixes were created as part of a reissue of all of Led Zeppelin's studio albums, which Page personally remastered in 2014/2015. The Re-Issue series is considered the best reissue series in rock music to date and was awarded Classic Rock magazine's "Reissue of the Year" award. In Germany, all remastered albums made it into the Top 10 or Top 15, ensuring that Led Zeppelin sometimes had several albums in the Top 10 at once.
