Alongside the works of other blues greats, Martin Scorsese has collected highlights from Keb' Mo's career and released them as part of a companion 5-CD box set. This album won two Grammy Awards in 2004 in the categories "Best Historical Album" and "Best Album Score". Martin Scorsese Presents the Blues tells the story of Grammy Award winner and inventor of the postmodern blues style Keb' Mo'. The vinyl package includes a four-page booklet with photos and liner notes and classic songs like Come On In My Kitchen and Am I Wrong. Track by track, you can hear how Keb' Mo' breathes his own kind of modernity into good old Delta blues. His blues are strong, clean and effective.
