Joe Bonamassa: Different Shades Of Blue versión en CD en estándar edición. Esta edición en concreto se lanzó en Europa en la editorial Provogue en colaboración con Mascot Label Group el día 26. septiembre 2014.
Spectacular, guitar-driven, orchestral: Joe Bonamassa with "Different Shades Of Blue" "Bluesrock guitarist Joe Bonamassa" - it sounds so innocuous. What Bonamassa delivers on his sixteenth album is absolutely brilliant and will take your breath away. With this studio album, he has come up with something truly special for his fans: original songs that he wrote himself, and which are much more jammier than on previous studio albums due to the writing process. Guitar, guitar, and more guitar - when someone is a virtuoso like Bonamassa, you can't get enough of him as a listener. Joe Bonamassa also has a great voice and on "Different Shades Of Blue" everything comes together. He really took his time, two years by his standards, to create something original and fresh with this solo project. And he succeeded. On his YouTube channel you can watch the two-part making-of of the album and listen to a total of three songs from "Different Shades Of Blue". The documentary videos show the making of "Never Give All Your Heart" and "Get Back My Tomorrow". In addition, the official music video for the title track "Different Shades Of Blue" has already been released. These three songs alone give you three good reasons to buy the album. Joe Bonamassa had excellent bandmates by his side for "Different Shades Of Blue". The producer is once again Kevin Shirley, who brought excellent musicians into the studio for Joe: For "Different Shades Of Blue" he engaged Reese Wynans (organ, piano), Carmine Rojas and Michael Rhodes (bass), Anton Figo (drums and percussion), Lenny Castro (percussion), Lee Thornburg (trumpet and trombone), Ron Dziubla (saxophone), Bovaland Orchestra (strings) and Doug Henthorn and Melanie Williams to provide backing vocals. Together in the studio, the core band perfected the final versions of Joe's original ideas. What originally started as a jam turned into perfectly produced and mixed tracks. Joe Bonamassa considers it his task and duty to reward his fans for their loyalty with more albums. With "Different Shades Of Blue" you almost wonder: do we deserve it? Thank you for this record. Let's hope that Joe Bonamassa will play more concerts in Germany in the near future than the four at the end of September 2014. Until then, we can be satisfied and enjoy the various releases of "Different Shades Of Blue". The album will be released simultaneously on CD, as a limited edition CD with a 64-page hardcover booklet, as an LP on 180g vinyl and also as a limited edition LP on picture disc.
