At the end of 2009 he was named "Breakthrough Artist of the Year" by the English magazine Classic Rock. Bonamassa will once again be scoring headlines and selling out concert halls in 2010. Special guest on the album "Black Rock" is blues icon B. B. King. He adds a very special touch to the song "Night Life" with his vocals and unrivaled guitar playing. King discovered Bonamassa, who was only 12 years old at the time, more than 20 years ago and included him among his opening acts. The producer of the new track is none other than Kevin Shirley (Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Rush, Journey and Led Zeppelin).
