JAYA THE CAT - Boston musicians who moved to Amsterdam in 2003, have been a guarantee of a tasteful and captivating combination of ska and reggae rhythms with punk and rock elements since the late 90s. The band has been touring around the world for many years and has gained a loyal fan base all over the world. With the album "The New International Sound Of Hedonism", the quartet around original member, singer and guitarist GEOFF LAGADECA returns and presents their most mature work to date. A multitude of bands have attempted to fuse offbeat and rock, but few have found such an original musical language as JAYA THE CAT, who let offbeat collide with driving guitars and always cleverly arranged and loosely grooving song material under LAGADEC's warm, soul-soaked voice.
