In their frenzied assault on the senses, they incorporate the unsettling realities of a world that has only ever been experienced live. On "Brutalism", however, they perfectly capture the intensity of their live performances. For example, the record perfectly captures the aggressive, urgent vocals of Joseph Talbot, who takes the stage with all his viciousness and dry humor. "Brutalism" is a deadly serious indictment of popular culture.
