Helene Fischer in full swing Four years have passed since the release of Helene Fischer's last album, which bears her name and reached the top of the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. After that, the German pop singer took a creative break. In 2021, she will end it with a bang: "Rausch" is the title of the singer's new, eighth album. In early August, she released her first single, the song "Vamos a Marte", a duet with Puerto Rican Latin singer Luis Fonsi, who became a global superstar in 2017 with his record-breaking hit "Despacito". The new single went straight to number two in the German chart. Since the release of the single, fans have been anxiously awaiting the album announcement, which finally followed on Helena's Instagram feed at the end of August: "'I feel like a high...', that's how you could really describe the last few months. But the high is more a reflection of my current state of mind and spirit, because today I can say: never have I been as clean and organized as I am at the moment. In the context of "intoxication" it may sound paradoxical, but sometimes I felt like a hurricane was raging around me, my agitated mind not giving me peace. I had a partially clouded idea of how I should go into musical harmony with myself - until song after song was created, every word in it brought me fulfillment and everything made sense. Today, I am balanced, completely in my center, and have gotten to where I always wanted to be - in the eye of the hurricane! I am happy to finally announce that my new album "Rausch" will be released on October 15!" "Rausch" is available in a variety of formats, as an 18-song CD with a 24-page booklet, as a deluxe double CD with 24 songs and a 48-page booklet, and as a limited super deluxe fan box with a deluxe double CD, a bonus CD of remixes available only in this box, and a Helene Fischer calendar with twelve monthly pages of all-new photos. Everything is packaged in a richly decorated box measuring approximately 30 × 30 cm. Fans of gramophone records will be in for a treat with the double LP on 180g vinyl.
