Each song on the album weaves a tapestry of grief, memory, and loss, with haunting melodies and deep, resonant vocals. The project was formed by Juha Raivio of Swallow the Sun, who sought to honor Aleah's memory after her untimely passing. He was joined by Tomi Joutsen of Amorphis and Gas Lipstick, formerly of HIM, to create this deeply emotional and evocative album. "No Stars Upon The Bridge" is characterized by its heavy riffs, somber tones, and an overarching sense of melancholy that reflects the themes of mourning and remembrance.
