Under the motto "Noise Lives!" a campaign to reissue the back catalogue of Noise Records begins this year. To kick things off, the label is releasing eight best of albums in May that have never before been available in this form and compilation. Gladbeck-based Grave Digger formed in 1980 and released their album debut "Heavy Metal Breakdown" on Noise Records four years later. With their melodic power metal, Grave Digger can be considered a heavier version of Accept at this stage. The album "Witch Hunter" followed a year later and a joint tour with Celtic Frost and Helloween brought the band to an even wider audience. After the third album "War Games" and a few line-up changes, the band renamed themselves Digger and recorded their last album "Stronger Than Ever" for Noise. Musically, they departed from their three predecessors and focused on mainstream metal. "Let Your Heads Roll" impressively documents this evolution of Grave Digger and summarizes the most interesting tracks. Review "No doubt a great opportunity to catch up on what you've missed, or to finally get the music you have at home on old LPs that you've played countless times digitally."
